The west face of Going to the Sun Mountain is a loose, messy heap of glacier debris. Such is the price when climbing this mountain. Such could be said about most mountains in Glacier, but this one certainly stands out as among the worst. But man oh man-what a view from the top! Keep your group small when climbing this mountain!
