Going to the Sun Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Going to the Sun Mountain
A variation of the Diagonal Route follows a fun scrambling alternative to cliffs due further south of the entrance into the Diagonal Chute. Many variations ranging in difficulty are encountered during the climb of about 150 feet through the cliff band, Here, Ellen and Kim descend a crack with other GMS members following. This climbing makes up for the loose scree and talus that covers the mountain. Avoid rock fall and keep your group small when climbing GTTS!
