Going to the Sun Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Going to the Sun Mountain
For some, the hardest move on Going to the Sun is the twenty foot wall that is ascended to attain the summit ridge. Other routes are possible, but this was a ton of fun. Here, Ellen ascends the wall, which is solid and a great scramble. The great air of the east face is about ten feet to the left, out of the picture. A thrilling place to be for sure! Such climbing makes up for the loose scree and talus that covers the mountain. Avoid rock fall and keep your group small when climbing GTTS!
