Pacific to Atlantic Loop ... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
 Pacific to Atlantic Loop ...
Pacific to Atlantic Loop

RED: Ascent route up Pacific Peak (13,950') via the north ridge. BLUE: Ascent and descent of Atlantic Peak (13,801') from Pacific Peak, using Atantic's mile long west ridge. BLACK: The 4WD road to the Gilpin mine ruins, which may be inaccessible, depending on the time of year. The black X near the ruins denotes an illegible sign that could very well say "stupid route by Aaron Johnson." (Actually, it's a gas!). Be prepared for a long day with lots of surprises.

Round Trip 6 miles, 2,887 feet of gain.
