The photo makes it look worse than it is. The Homestretch is Class 3 scrambling when dry. Wet, snow or glazed in ice would certainly be another matter. Great photo though of climbing conditions.

I'll echo Aaron's comments. The Homestretch is not nearly as bad as pictures make it look. I'm an exposure wuss, and I wasn't nearly as freaked out on the Homestretch as I expected I'd be after looking at pictures.

Since I took this photo, I'll agree that it makes it look much worse than it is - but it seems that photos of the Homestretch (or anything, really) either make it look simple or insane. That said - it's a fun photo!
