Moose galore. [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Moose galore.
Near our campsite at Dollar Lake, four big bulls (three in this pic) kept us entertained as they fed during the late afternoon after we climbed Kings Peak. They are huge animals and worthy of respect. The interesting thing was that while we were on the trail in the morning, there were two large bull moose near Gunsight Pass. I saw probably 12 moose during our short couple of days in the area.

Great MOOSE, Dean. Yes, guess the bear is making a good RUN. My brother & I climbed Kings in 1982 - we must of heard a MOOSE during the night; close to our camp near Dollar Lake. It was the most God-awful SOUND I ever heard!
