On Snow Dome, research station to the right (north) of picture, but out of sight from this photo. The summit is slightly cut off in this picture. We were unable to climb directly to col between West Peak (summit) and the false summit because of Bergschrund, so we followed faint boot tracks to Crystal Pass (not on our topo)eventually traveling south of West Peak and ridge seen in this picture. 9/3/06
