Sometimes I am solo and would like to avoid crevasses....

yes, from Schlossberglücke you have to walk on the
Glattfirn glacier until you reach Spannortjoch.
The Glattfirn had quite many crevasses but end of
July most of them were open. I know the problem, I
usually go solo too. Rgds André
