Gray Wolf & Southeastern Ridge [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Gray Wolf & Southeastern Ridge
Still looking at the south face, but moving across Upper Riddell Lake Basin to the east, it was interesting to note how the perspective changes. The jagged ridge on the right was briefly considered as a possible route, but ultimately we decided to keep on going, over into the Scenic Lakes Basin. It's a bit difficult to make out, but the true summit—unseen until now—is visible from this perspective, being the furthest right (and most distant) of the four distinct "points" of the mountain.
