Storm on Lenin [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Storm on Lenin
I climbed Pik Lenin on a stormy day. The winds were sometimes ferocious and at times the visibility was down to 10 m. I was lucky to see the rocky parts of the higher reaches at times. This photo is shot from the plateau were C4 is located at approx. 6400m.
The climb is basically a walk up, but there are some rocky sections to negotiate, probably about class 4 scramble.
