Coalpit Gulch - North Thunder Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Coalpit Gulch - North Thunder Mountain
We ascended Coalpit Gulch to the base of the Northeast Ridge. After climbing the ridge for a bit we took an opportunity to relish the view over Hogum Fork , Pfeifferhorn, White Baldy, and the rest of the Alpine Ridge. 9/9/06.

There are parts of the Coalpit Gulch that are a bit tedious, but overall it's a must climb--at least once.
