You have a beautifull shot there of Icy. My first climb with my Son was to Ruth. Ever since then, and numerous climbs since, we have talked about going back in there and climbing Icy. Our climbing buddies tried going up the Nooksack river to the end below Icy, then up the moderate cliff bands , but quit because it was longer in than expected and short daylight in late November, but they said it was a beautiful route in, maybe for a two dayer. We'll see about this climb in the Fall. .

We made it in October of 2004 via Nooksack Cirque. I add this to the route section and pictures.
