The much longer but very scenic access to Sharkstooth Pass from the east takes one past and above Taylor Lake to a ridgetop with good views to the west of Sharkstooth Peak and its neighbors. This view is looking back east, though, toward Kennebec Pass and Snowstorm Peak.
