Sunset light on Hesperus Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Sunset light on Hesperus Mountain
Highest in the La Platas-- August 2005. Hesperus is visible through the trees at the Sharkstooth trailhead, and a walk of maybe two minutes on the trail heading toward Hesperus gives you this unobstructed view.

It's a beauty. All the peaks there are quite striking with their banding. I hope to get back there one of these days myself.
