This beautiful waterfall is encountered along the Cataract Creek drainage en route to a climb of Half Peak, in Colorado's San Juan mountains. Just above these falls are several excellent camp sites should you decide your visit to this area will involve an over night stay. Other camp sites in the higher basin are in abundance as well, but they are exposed to the elements.
