I personally have not swum there, but the pool is deep enough for it. I once saw someone go in on a warm spring day, and he didn't seem to enjoy it but stayed in long enough to make it look respectable. The pools tend to be very cold since they're in the forest and don't get much sunlight, and I've learned that at a different waterfall in the park. However, it doesn't deter people made of stronger stuff.
