Brewer Buttress [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Brewer Buttress
6th Pitch- 30m- 5.5/ Move the belay to the other side of Brewers Buttress where you will find another bolt belay. You can also clearly see the hut below from this location. Climb, angling back right, past a series of flakes and features to the base of a prominent, left facing corner capped by a significant roof. You will be well off the crest of the buttress again at this point. Brewer Buttress, II, 5.6, Castle Mountain, Banff National Park, Canadian Rockies, August 30, 2006.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
