Mark DoironInteresting Light

The tree's shadow seems to bely the lighting of the tree itself. Flash, perhaps? Regardless, I like. Nice image! --mark d.

Interesting observation, and one that I never made myself, but no, no flash. It was early afternoon but in winter, so that could account for the shadow.

Thank you, Afzal. This was one of my favorite trees, and I took many shots of it from different angles and under different conditions. It finally fell during ice storms 8 years ago, and I still miss that tree.
