Looking down on the west... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Looking down on the west...
Looking down on the west summit pinnacle, as seen from the summit of Pacific Peak. This sub summit must be climbed over to reach the summit (Class 3). MayflowerHill, in the sunshine above the pinnacle, is flanked in dark shadow by Mayflower Gulch, where this climb begins. In the distance are the tailings dumps and ponds from the Climax Mine, and the snow capped mountains of the Holy Cross Wilderness beyond. Summer, 2003.
