The five main slides on the east face of Whiteface. To date, I have climbed Slides 1-4. There is a possible sixth slide off of Slide #5, but it appears to be overgrown. Pure slab, the slides range from Class 2+ to Class 4 climbing. Although the slides average a 30-40 degree pitch, the upper sections of Slides 2-4 approach 70 degrees. The ORDA Trail allows access from the summit back to the ski slopes.
