A little west of Mount Sneffels is Mears Peak, an imposing looking mountain as seen from Box Factory Park at the end of the West Dallas Creek Road off of 62 just NW of Ridgeway. The drive in to this meadow was very easy and somewhat crowded given the amazing views along the way although we saw no one for over a day at the road terminus. Sep 26, 2006. Fuji Velvia.
