Vesper Peak is the snow-clad... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Vesper Peak is the snow-clad...
Vesper Peak is the snow-clad mountain at center in this photo taken from the summit of Foggy Peak six miles to the east. The thimble-shaped summit left of Vesper is Morning Star Peak, while the cliffy peak to the right of Vesper is Sperry Peak. In the background is Mt. Pilchuck. The rocks in the foreground are those of the East Ridge of Pirate Peak, otherwise known as Eagle's Nest (broad summit) and Spurr Peak (the two crags). Photo taken June 16, 2003.

Cool shot, Klenke. I am really surprised at how much snow is still up there this late, considering our short lived snow season this year. I bet everything up to Headlee Pass is melted off though.

Most of that snow is probably gone by now. The pic was taken June 16th.
