The picturesque Silver Lake with it's deep turquiose color shadowed by clouds. Peak 8824 rises abruptly on the left with the north Spickard glacier seen descending behind. Mount Spickard is hidden directly behind 8824. Mount Custer is the prominent summit on the right above the lake with the mass of Mount Redoubt in the center distance.
