Olympic Marmot [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Olympic Marmot
I observed this one for a while amongst the rocks around Upper Lena Lake. Then it came down for a drink as if I were not even standing there.

That's different from the Yellow-bellied,
right??? Are you still listening to
Zorak and Brak on your Space Ghost
channel? Can't wait 'till that dazzeling
display of wildflowers appear ...

Indeed, the Olympic Marmot is its own variation endemic to the peninsula. How do you know that I dabble in the Space Ghost characters? Do you enjoy them as well?

Glad that you asked! I've been reading
all the 'threads' underneath the photos.
You can usually find out more about a
person that way. Sorry if I intruded on
your personal life. The only radio show
that I listen to is that one coming out
of Seattle ... the UFO channel, I think.
That's what happens when you spend too
much time on computers, and don't go
out to enjoy the gray skies and hot coffee.
I enjoy mountains more than anything else.
Greetings and take care of yourself.
