This is the crux of the drive up the road to the Colony Lakes area. It's as far as my 2WD Toyota pick up would go which is about five miles up the road. I caught a ride shortly after I started hiking. Several other places were touch-and-go but I made it. I tried this rock slab four times. It's rougher than it looks.

	Hasn't voted	I actually drove an AMC Eagle Stationwagon up this road. All the way. It was 4x4, but no 4x4 low.
