That's a cool snow ridge. That cornice is somewhat similar to the one on the summit ridge.

Yeah similar, just fewer climbers and 6,000 feet below it! This was the weirdest terrain on the climb. The exposure on either side was huge and there were places where your foot would just go through one of these cornices because you didn't know you were on one. You'd get past it and look back and go "oh shit".
