On the West Buttress (Washburn) route at the 11k camp. Kahiltna Dome and Foraker shine bright at 10 or 11pm. Foraker's Sultana Ridge and Kahiltna Dome's Northeast Ridge are the prominent sunlit ridges.

Voted 10/10 | Early fall is okay. Late September is good. Mostly stable weather and less people.
July and August are naturally the best and driest months.
