That's a great view of the tilting in the Grand Canyon Supergroup under that flat layers of the main sequence!

Indeed. The Supergroup is a rare site in the GC. I have all the other layers memorized (including age and sequence) and know them well, but not the Supergroup!

Yeah the Supergroup is awesome. I've gotten to see a lot more of it, since most of my Canyon time has been via river. Some of my favourite rocks! Tapeats Creek flows through some really good bits of it too. The most surreal stuff is the Kwagunt Formation, though, up Nankoweap; I can't recommend that area too highly.
