50 feet up from the bottom of the rock route. The class 4 route starts higher, above this point, and is approached from above the snowfield to the east. The bottom of the chute here is at least class 5.4, and no place for a guy in tennis shoes, no rope, and no climbing experience above 5.7 :) Iceberg Lake is below. Aug 6, 2001
