late ascent [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
late ascent
The spec on the ridgeline in between the two rocks is my climbing partner John. I unfortunately decided to bring backcountry skis and a sled on the first day, and my skis couldn't get enough traction in the slushy afternoon corn to ascend the ridgeline proper. I moved left into the lower-angled gully, and we reached camp just as the last of the daylight disappeared.
