Hurwal Divide from Chief Joe
This view shows Hurwal Divide from Joseph Point, the summit of Chief Joseph Mountain. Hurwal is composed of Hurwal Formation rock, the dark rock at the summit of Joseph is basalt and the light colored rock is Martin Bridge Limestone. Eagle Cap is in the distanct to the right of Hurwal and to the left is the Imnaha/Wallowa divide from Petes Point to Cusick Mountain. July 1997
