Late afternoon light on Vishnu Temple seen from a nice perch above Hance Creek. That's a big piece of rock and is very prominent from just about everywhere along the eastern end of the Tonto Trail. I'd love to climb that thing some day. 11-22-2006.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Herbert. It's a beautiful rock. I believe most routes would need some rope work but not too much really hard climbing. The most common approach, from the rim of the canyon behind, requires a 35 meter abseil and the rope must be left in place for the return ascent. | | Posted Jan 27, 2007 9:45 am |
