is this the "bergschrund" or just your average hole in the ice. i guess i will take a ladder when i go there

This is not a bergschrund, but an average crevasse on the normal route. If you not hurry you may miss this exciting crossing because I think this bridge won't survive this summer. Otherwise at least hundred people (ore more) could crossed this bridge in this summer so we did not looked for a better alternative. There are many more bigger crevasses on the way but this was from the most interesting ones.

Shouldn't the rope be tied to your harness when crossing that crack? It seems that it comes from the backpack.

Of course the rope was tied into the harness but you're right it seems if it would come from the backpack.
