Purcell Mtn from the east [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Purcell Mtn from the east
In 2005 I made a run to do High Rock and on the way back via backroads to the north side of Purcell Mtn. A few spots required high clearance as washouts had affected the road in a couple places but I was able to go over FR 63 to US 12. I had a good view of Purcell Mtn as I went down the road and figured I would be back later on to nab this peak. When I returned with Bob, the road up from US 12 was blocked by a huge tree across the road and we didn't have the time to do the long drive via the backroads to get to the shorter route used by Paul Klenke.
