Snivelling Gully II, WI 3 [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Snivelling Gully II, WI 3
4th Pitch- Several photos provided. Classic WI 3, offers plenty of rest stops to insert screws, yet nice sustained curtain that trends left towards the top where you will find a tree anchor with slings (2006) to start your rappel. Snivelling Direct, 125m, WI 5 to the right.

Thanks Deb, I have to admit it is a blast, much more tangible than rock, not much of a learning curve to get started, but of course a whole new set of gear. Going out every other day at the moment, best ice we have had since I lived here. Cheers.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
