Oberseitsee (2582m) is a rather big mountain lake on the south side of Panargenkamm ridge subgroup. A shower is approaching from the Defereggen valley. The lake is visited often, because on the route from Defereggen valley is Seespitz hut (2327m) and via the lake you can climb Seespitze (3021m), a 3000m-peak suitabele for experienced hikers.
