Dobratsch summit pano from SW to NW
Dobratsch summit panorama from SW to NW.
To the left the carnic alps are visible and parts of the western julian alps in the background (Jof di Montasio to the very left).
The valley of Gail (Gailtal) in the middle is completely covered by fog and clouds.
To the right you can see the summit (2.166 m) and the summit cross of Dobratsch, in the background the main ridge of Hohe Tauern in the distance.

Thanks - all the valleys were full of fog and clouds for a couple of days, but the viewing conditions above app. 700 meters were just outstanding. You could perfectly see most of the Julian alps and Hohe Tauern (even Grossglockner was nicely visible).

;)) ...but considering your pictures, you had a similar pleasure several times, too. I just mention Mont Blanc de Courmayeur...
