It is very difficult to take a picture of these trees that shows how truly massive they are without having a person in the pic.
also I found it difficult to get a close-up shot that shows most of the tree.

Thanks, Ralph! Another challenge I had was the light--the trees make it so contrasty between light and shadow, that it can be difficult to get a good picture without over-exposure. Oh, for a cloudy day! Anyway, this was actually just a little P&S film camera, so I didn't have a wide-angle lens at hand. But, I guess if I take enough pictures, one or two will come out okay. :-)
