ANYA: I saw a lot of Pikas in Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park throughout the 1980's. I never got a photo - would often HEAR them long before I SAW them. They were quite lovely; were a favorite CRITTER of my Biology teacher. Your photos are so clear - could I ever come close with a digital camera? THANKS for the MEMORIES !!!

Thanks. They are lovely indeed. I have gotten very close to them many times with my 10x optical zoom digital camera. Never close enough to do a macro shot of them though. Maybe someday ;)
