Drytooling a M4 route on the lower ice falls of Boulder Canyon. A nice day with good friends and lots of encouragement allowed me to push myself. I had never climbed mixed before, (other than in the gym) and I was really rpoud to get to the top of this line, albeit on top rope. January 13th, 2007.

Hasn't voted | This particular route, or the whole day? Both were totally awesome. We ended up setting up two top-ropes, one for the whole falls, and one with this direct dry tool appraoch. All of that drytooling at home and in the gym paid off, it was brilliant and almost felt more comfortable than being on ice!! | | Posted Jan 15, 2007 4:09 am |

Voted 10/10 | This was my 1st year climbing (trying) mixed! Very hard but extremely rewarding. Makes me want mono points. Great, more gear =) | | Posted Mar 24, 2007 1:07 am |

I hope to get better and try some hard stuff at Vail eventually. Plus, more gear = :) | | Posted Apr 26, 2007 10:16 pm |

Hasn't voted | Love em! Makes doing a figure 4 or 9 a little harder, but I don't do that too much! Works great for stemming, or mantling at the top of climbs. I think they are great for mixed especially.
