Looking down the South Ridge...
Looking down the South Ridge of Mt. Sneffels. Here we are doing a variation of the South Ridge--we traversed across the east face from the ridge and then climbed up to regain the ridge near the summit. Difficulty was about 4th class with awesome exposure. The South Ridge proper is seen at the right side of the photo. Yankee Boy Basin is seen below. July, 1996.
