Can it carry the weight of one person?

I seem to recall a story Gerry Roach tells about crossing the arch as a new climber.

I would think it can hold the weight of several people and Gerry Roach did climb it as a kid. He tells a story about it in his book "Transcendent Summits". I can see why it is closed off to climbers now, because there's a huge crack in it!

I missed this one when you posted it but when looking through the TR's, I found yours and love the pics you posted. This one is such a special arch and with the snow, you've captured it beautifully.
