Narrow road [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Narrow road
Bob was busy photographing the shoe tree while I was busy photographing him. Note the narrow paved road, this is the way the road is for mile after mile with just enough turnouts for vehicles to pass each other. This shoe tree is about a mile from FR 2308 as you head towards Galice and Grants Pass.

NJ eh? I've seen about three of these shoe trees now. This one is most likely a copycat of one somewhere else, maybe NJ. Thanks Radek for all your votes.

Never seen a shoe tree before, but saw shoes thrown over a wire (telephone, I think) when we hiking down to Havasu Falls. So odd and out of place...

Indeed, it was out of place. We had just rounded a curve in the road and there this weird tree was. So we did what any normal people would do, we went touron. (stopped and got our cameras). Thanks for your votes, they are appreciated.
