Hasn't voted | No, I've never climbed it but would like to. In Kelsey's Timpanogos book it looks like a cool route. | | Posted Feb 8, 2007 8:10 pm |

Voted 10/10 | route with a friend in 1974. Do you know
that "permanent snowfield" that people
like to glissade down, on the mountain's
east side? It's located in the cirque,
right? Well... 1974 was 34 years ago, so
seems to me that snowfield should be GETTING
bigger and more stable. And, why in God's
name did they put up a shack on the summit OF
Timp??? Does it have political undertones,
or is it there for the purpose of scientific
research??? Thanks, Melinda! | | Posted Feb 16, 2008 12:49 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you. I try not to talk about politics in Utah because it usually gets me into trouble. That “permanent snowfield” seems to change each year. You can read about it in this Article written by Scott. | | Posted Feb 16, 2008 4:08 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks! It’s a beautiful mountain. Timp is the only mountain in the Wasatch that has seven glacial cirques. I can see why it’s so popular. | | Posted Jun 16, 2008 4:30 am |
