I was scared, and made it through the experience to climb another day. Inshallah.

Very few night shots on SP. I like this one. Climbing in the dark is always something special.

. . . perhaps not as special as sneaking through security check points in Tibet at night;)

I've never seen ropes trailing away into the darkness. Looks both ominous and impressive. I admire your pluck.

It felt more ominous than impressive. Freakish really. Thx.

I like this shot too...for some reason, it's stuff like this that makes me want to try big walls...go figure :)

Whilst I've done some neat routes in the UK (Dinas Cromlech crag in North Wales, and long routes on the Isle of Arran), the nearest I've been is - standing at the edge on top of Half Dome (enough to make your male parts climb back inside you), and in my dreams (there I was on El Cap, peering out from a cave as my lust drew me so high, yet my primitive trying to hide). I'm quite out of practice. Who needs that primitive S**t. (I'll be back!)

Admiration for those who climb them.
