I was laughing too
as we felt a bit silly claiming the county highpoint of Boundary County Idaho. Bob and I found a baggie register in these cairn rocks and had to agree with Ken Jones and the guy who put the register there that this was most likely the highest spot on the mountain. Understand that to get to this point requires 5 miles of hiking and 3800 feet of elevation gain through grizzly territory. Still, it was a fun hike with a bit of class three scrambling at a few spots. Another register is to be found back about 200 yards along the ridge.
