| Ptarmigan Traverse Region and Beyond | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
A panorama of some of the peaks which make up the Ptarmigan Traverse region as seen from one of the Hidden Lake Peaks (the one with the lookout). That region, in this photo, is anchored on one end by the area near Johannesburg / Hurry-Up and on the other near Spire Point.
This photo was taken using a compact digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 880) with an optical telephoto zoom from Hidden Lake Peak. In reality, they appear further away.

Voted 10/10 | Beautiful and educational. Except you mislabeled Glacier Peak. Thanks for putting this together. | | Posted Feb 12, 2007 5:05 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for catching the typo. That's what I get for copying one label and using it as a template for the others. I'll correct it soon...
Feb 12 Update: Corrected the typo + added some info on the creek drainages. Hopefully those are correct. As stated earlier, any other typos or errors found, please feel free to let me know. Thanks again Eric.... | | Posted Feb 12, 2007 7:18 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Sentinal should be Sentinel. Mt. Johannesburg should be Johannesburg Mountain. Other than that, it looks good. A nice clear shot. | | Posted Feb 14, 2007 7:44 pm |
