Hasn't voted | Situations like this happen (very seldom) when the sky is clearing on the side of the sun and its rays illuminate the scene from near the horizon.
I want to make clear that, although very unusual, this photo is totally genuine. I never manipulate my photographs other than adjusting local contrast and sharpness, and some noise reduction when necessary.
