The Black Cuillin from Dun Beag [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Black Cuillin from Dun Beag
In our week on the Isle of Skye the Cuillin remained hidden from view. I even climbed one of them and never saw any of the others!
On our last day we toured the Waternish Peninsula and stopped at Dun Beag, the best preserved iron-age broch (circular fort) on Skye. Suddenly the ridge appeared and I dashed 100 yards from the broch for a clear view to get this photo.
July, 2006.
