Shortly after reaching the Upper Enchantments, the trail takes you to the edge of the plateau and a view down to Crystal Lake. Click on this photo to see the amazing towers and splinters on the S side of McClellan Peak in better detail. The descent S to Ingalls Creek is as steep as it looks.
